Optimus Prime is organizing a rescue mission. Bumblebee is being an excellent friend. Shockwave is studying my snack habits. Starscream has declared himself CEO.
I was away for eleven minutes.
Meet our new chibi Transformers plush lineup: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Shockwave, and Starscream! These officially licensed plush bring some very big Cybertronian personalities into a smaller, softer form. Naturally, I volunteered to supervise.
Someone has to protect the office snacks.
Optimus Prime: Leadership You Can Hug
Some heroes enter a room and immediately make you feel safer. Optimus Prime does that, even when he’s eight inches tall.
With his blue helmet, silver faceplate, red and blue armor, and embroidered details, our Chibi Optimus Prime Plush brings the familiar Autobot leader to your shelf in an especially adorable form.
I asked him whether wearing a red hoodie and helping my friends qualified me for Autobot membership.
He hasn’t answered yet, but I think he’s considering it.
Bumblebee: Official Best Friend Material
Bumblebee seems like the kind of friend who would help you move a couch, encourage you through a difficult day, and keep quiet about the time you got your head stuck in a cereal box.
It was a narrow box. These things happen.
Our approximately nine-inch Chibi Bumblebee Plush features his yellow and black colors, blue embroidered eyes, and a seated design with an oversized head and compact body. The result? A little Autobot who looks right at home beside your keyboard.
Finally, someone to support me during important work activities. Like opening another browser tab instead of finishing the first one.
Shockwave: A Logical Choice for an Illogical Cat
Shockwave has purple armor, a single optic, an arm cannon, and the expression of someone who just discovered my expense reports.
Apparently, “emergency pudding” requires additional documentation.
At approximately nine inches tall, our Chibi Shockwave Plush pairs his distinctive Decepticon design with soft minky fabric and detailed embroidery.
I explained that hugging a plush can improve a difficult afternoon. He appears to be reviewing the evidence.
I have offered to participate in further testing.
Starscream: Already Requesting a Bigger Section
Starscream read the headline and asked why his name wasn’t in it.
Then he asked why he was fourth.
Then he submitted a revised article titled “Starscream and Three Other Robots.”
Our eight-inch Chibi Starscream Plush captures his classic colors, wing details, red embroidered eyes, and wonderfully smug expression. He has the perfect look for a Decepticon who believes your best display spot already belongs to him.
I put him beside my monitor. He’s now referring to it as his command center.
