We make toys for a living.
It started with a kid who loved toys and turned into a company of beautiful dreamers.
Towards the end of the 1970's when movies like Star Wars were hitting the theaters, our company founder, Joseph Reiter was just a boy. One of his favorite movies was Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (1971) with star Gene Wilder. The movie told the story of a man who ran a chocolate factory with a family of small orange people called Oompa Loompas. He dreamed of owning a factory and having it run by Oompa Loompas. He also loved to play with toys and, while he didn't have many growing up, he enjoyed each one his family had bought him. While Symbiote Studios is not run by Oompa Loompas, we are a close group of friends who consider the company like a family.
2007 in Tucson, Arizona Symbiote Studios was born. The goal was to manufacture amazing toys for clients while also creating high quality internal products for sale directly to fans at trade shows and on the web.
2012 Symbiote Studios expands to Seattle, Washington. Seattle is the heart beat of the video game industry and having an office close allowes the company to expand its services to developers.
2015 the company opens an office in Huizhou, China. Being constantly close to our factory allowes us to maintain even higher quality standards.
2017 Symbiote Studios grows and expands back to Tucson, Arizona. The expansion to licensed merchandise being created and sold directly from Symbiote Studios Shop brings the need for a larger warehouse in Tucson, Arizona.
The future is bright for our company. We will continue to strive to create a happy work place. We will fight to make sure every client and customer is not just happy, but overjoyed by their products.
Symbiote Studios is a great company to work for. We love what we do and we love who we do it for.
